Finding old cans and bottles is like treasure hunting. Rare finds of beer and soda cans and bottles are still being made quite frequently due to the demolition of older buildings and the renovation of houses built in the 1930's and 1940's. These nice condition cans are generally found inside of walls, which were drank on the job and discarded by the carpenters who constructed the homes. Believe me... I spent a few years as a carpenter... These guys drink on the job! Other places items are turning up are in old abandoned houses, barns, crawl spaces, or in attics buried in insulation.

  Other good places to look are old bars & taverns, junk shops, and yes even old dumps.
